New > Member Class

Whether you are new or have been around a while we hope that you already feel that you “belong” at First Pres.  But if you are sensing God’s gift of grace leading you to another step in your journey of faithfulness, then you may be ready to make a commitment to our community of faith and pursue membership officially.  We’ll have you join us for 2 gatherings: Thursday evening March 21 and Saturday March.  It’s an opportunity for us to get to know you and you to get to know others, including our pastors and some of our elders.  We’ll talk about the mission and values of FPC, what it means to be a people of reformed faith, and give you a tour of the building.

If you have questions or you are ready to sign up, contact Myra at 747-1058 x252 or myraw@spokanefpc.org. Please let Myra know if you need childcare.

OFFSITE this month at Whitworth University in the Seeley G. Mudd Chapel
Speaker: Daniel Hill, author of White Awake

Join us at FPC for dinner at 6pm ($5/adult) and then join the carpool north to Whitworth University! RSVP for a ride by contacting Ross Carper (ross@spokanefpc.org)

"For about two decades, Daniel Hill has been wrestling with what it means to be a white man in America and a white pastor in the city of Chicago. He is fearlessly curious and inquisitive. When things get uncomfortable, he leans in. White Awake is Daniel's invitation to lean in to the current moment and join the movement for racial justice—lest we discover a generation from now that we slept through a revolution." — Shane Claiborne
